Cover Reveal for That's A Promise by Victoria Klahr

Synopsis

Happily ever after doesn’t exist. Not just in the romantic sense, but in the sense that there will never be a point in life that will contain no more obstacles.
Josie Sommers is a nerdy twenty four year old, elementary school teacher who has always considered herself a strong person. But with the loss of a loved one and the return of someone she vowed to never see again, her strength starts to break.
When he betrayed her in the ultimate way, she never thought she would let him back into her life, let alone open herself up to falling back in love with him.
Plagued with resentment and the burden of her own dishonesty, Josie has to decide if forgiving and coming clean is worth the risk of losing him again. With so many hurdles, we know that Josie’s story is no fairytale.
That’s a promise.

My Review of That First Kiss (Night Calls, #2) by J.C. Valentine--- 4 out of 5 stars (Tourwide Giveaway)

Oh this book was so good.  Piper is a very strong willed woman who wants to make it in life on her own.  She refuses to go back to Alabama.  Piper lands a job to be an assistant to Tate who is a very popular author and a playboy.  The publishing company has had the hardest time finding an assistant that lasts more than a day working for Tate because he is just down right rude.  I don't know how Piper managed to work for him so long but she wouldn't take his crap.  This only challenged him more.  The cat and mouse game they played was funny even though they were both very attracted to each other.  Piper refuses to be with him because he is her boss and wants to keep the best job that she has ever had.  In the beginning I loathed Tate.  Oh gosh he got on my nerves, but if you hang in there you will see the smallest changes happen throughout the book.  It was a great read for me and I really liked it.

Synopsis

Mercurial and charming, Tate Larson is a rising author and playboy who has a different woman on his arm every night of the week. Focused on his work, Tate has no plans to settle down any time soon. That is until he meets his pretty new assistant, Piper Donovan.

Desperate to escape the promise of backwater living, Piper ditched her Alabama hometown and never looked back. That was almost two years ago. Now that she is out of a job and her bank account is running on fumes, she’s desperate to find a job, fast. She finds the break she is searching for when she lands a position at Bookish Temptations. A little dancing and a lot of drinks with the girls seem the perfect way to celebrate. After a brief but explosive encounter with a man she was never supposed to see again turns out to be the same man she will be bending over backwards to please, her every instinct tells her to run. But when running means leaving the life she has struggled so hard to create, Piper decides her only option is to continue working for the devastatingly sexy Tate Larson...even if it kills her.

Unable to deny their growing attraction, they struggle to keep their distance in a relationship that requires anything but.

My Review of Crash Into Me by K.M. Scott----4 stars out of 5---Also enter tourwide giveaway

Okay I liked this book. It wasn't what I expected but it did intrigue me. When Nina and Tristan first meet she is so attracted to him. It seems he is attracted to her as well but then he becomes very standoffish. The first time they spoke to each other he was very cryptic which freaked her out and if some guy asked me to go for a ride and takes me to see some property then turns around and drops me off at home without harming me and doesn't give her any contact information---well I would be freaked out as well. I'm surprised she even spoke to him again but of course he is HOT and mysterious. The way Tristan first treats Nina was extremely weird and it pissed me off. He would act interested then turn around and go out with somebody else in front of her. I mean really....how rude. The sad part is that Nina tried to stay away from him and he really tried not to fall for Nina but love has no boundaries. Later during the book you will find out more about Nina and her background. She is a strong independent woman but she did have a horrible past that broke my heart. This is where the good part comes in. It seems Tristan knows a lot more about Nina than he cares to admit. This is why he is so mysterious and tries to resist Nina. I loved the book and couldn't put it down. It started off a little slow but then Nina had her funny wit at the beginning of the book that got me to keep going and then the story took off. Awesome read and the passion between Tristan and Nina is very hot and steamy. Can't wait for the second one Fall Into Me which comes out December 4th!!!

What would you give up for everything?

Tristan Stone was powerful, commanding, sex incarnate. And he wore it all so well. From the moment his mesmerizing gaze met mine, I had no choice but surrender to everything he was. His power. His decadence. His passion. He was all I never knew I needed.

He wanted to possess me, and I wanted to be his everything. All I had to do was accept what he offered. But everything has a price.

The world he gave me fulfilled my wildest dreams, but would that be enough when the past crashed into the present?
