Love Again by Christina Marie

Love AgainLove Again by Christina Marie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have fallen in love with this author's writing. Something about the writing is so raw that I can actually feel the characters feelings. There is a graphic scene of rape in the book so be warned that this book may not be suitable for everybody. However, what does make this book so worthy is how Lennie the heroine rises after the tragedy. It took her a long time to heal but at the same time she didn't realize the man that she met before the rape would have been there to help her get through this horrible act of violence. Dominique is my new fictional book boyfriend. When the love of his life is brutally raped he wanted to be there for her. He felt her pain and would have done anything for Lennie. At the time Lennie's first response is to run and push Dominique away. It worked but not a day went by where Dominique was having to deal with this emotional trauma as well. Lennie thought she was doing the right thing. My heart broke for the two of them but read the book to see how they realize they can't be apart. COMPLETELY LOVED THE BOOK!!!!

Blessed are Those Who Weep (Gabriella Giovanni Mystery, #3) by Kristi Belcamino

Blessed are Those Who Weep (Gabriella Giovanni Mystery, #3)Blessed are Those Who Weep by Kristi Belcamino
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book was okay for me. There was a lot of mystery and it was a page turner but I will warn you. When it first starts in the beginning I wasn't sure I would be able to read the whole book. The description of the crime scene was so detailed and then there was a baby involved. The baby is the only survivor when an entire family is murdered. Ella and the baby connect in a way that was very emotional for me. I had to put the book down and gather courage to read the rest of the book. It really was a very well written book and it had me guessing all the time. I liked the book and would recommend this to anybody that likes crime mysteries and suspense. Believe me there is a lot of that in this book.

Unchained Memory (Book 1) by Donna S. Frelick 5 stars out of 5

Unchained Memory (Book 1)Unchained Memory by Donna S. Frelick
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I was given this book as an ARC for an honest review. I will be honest and let you know that I really do not read Sci-Fi books at all or watch Sci-Fi movies. I was hesitant to read this book but I thought I would be open-minded and read it. I LOVED THE BOOK!!!! It was a page turner and I was only expecting to read for a few hours but I had to stay up and finish it. I love Ethan and Asia and the journey they go through together to get the answers Asia so desperately needs. This poor woman lost so much but yet is so strong. There is also suspense and a couple of parts that made me cry. Let's not forget the panty melting moments between Ethan and Asia. I'm telling you this book had everything in it. It was so well written because I was not able to put down at all. I definitely recommend this book!!! Freakin love it.

Unstoppable by Christina Marie Book 2 Must be read after Rewind 5 stars out of 5

UnstoppableUnstoppable by Christina Marie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

OMG I loved this book!!!! Harley and Ryder are the kids from Rewind. I fell in love with Ryder and felt so bad for him. I don't know why Harley dates the first guy she meets in college but that was her choice. Her roommate Sarah is freakin hilarious. I hope she gets her own book. There are very graphic scenes in the book so if sexual violence is hard for you to read you may want to reconsider. This was an emotional roller coaster but it does have a HEA. I really love this author. I know I read her books under her previous name but for some reason these books just seem much more thorough. Can't wait to see what else the author has for us!

Rewind by Christina Marie formerly known as H.M. Montes 4 Stars out of 5

RewindRewind by Christina Marie
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I read this a few months ago and for some reason I saw something on TV and it reminded me of this book so I had to search for it. For the life of me I couldn't remember any character names except for Lucifer who plays the father and is the President of the MC. I couldn't remember author name, name of book, zip...nada....Do you know how long it took me to find it? 4 hours after going through all my books...lol I did like this book. I think it needs some polishing such as some editing errors which I can give my business a shout out Roni's Editing Services. Anyways, it is a real emotional book and very graphic details about abuse in the book but it doesn't end with a cliffhanger!!!! Thank God...So tired of CLIFF HANGERS!!!! The cover doesn't match the description of the heroine in the book. Her name is Sydney. She is very petite and a cheerleader in college. Other than that I really enjoyed the book. I love the ending BTW. The next book is called Unstoppable. I've read it already but like I said I forgot the names of the books and didn't do the reviews. So sorry.

My Review of Felix (5th Street, #5) 5 Stars out of 5

Felix (5th Street, #5)Felix by Elizabeth Reyes
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

So I know I said that Noah's story was my favorite but now I have a tie. Felix's story was so good to read. I cried, laughed, and loved the intensity of Felix's love for Ella. This book is different than any of the books she has ever written. It touches on a subject that not many people write about and shows how this disease affects everybody in the family. All the guys stick together as brothers and are there for Felix through one of the toughest times of his life. I love how Gio and Felix make up and helps Felix deal with a loss that no parent should have to go through. Ella was what Felix needed. His whole attitude changes for the best and he makes a lot of changes in his life for her. Felix stops the partying, drinking, doing drugs, sleeping around, and smoking all because he wanted to be the man that Ella deserved. I can't say too much about what they went through because I'm afraid I might give it away but I can say that they were each other's lifeline. Way to go Elizabeth!!! This is not your typical love story because it touches on some very serious issues. Don't expect hot love scenes because the book doesn't focus on that but do expect a love story that is very rare. Not many men do what Felix did for Ella. This is by far one of Elizabeth's greatest pieces of work.

My Review of Strange Addiction (The Twelve Olympians #4) by Sandrine Gasq-Dion 4.5 Stars out of 5

Strange Addiction (The Twelve Olympians, #4)Strange Addiction by Sandrine Gasq-Dion
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I really love this series so much and the dynamic of friendships formed since the first book of A Marked Man. The Olympians is a spin-off series from Assassin/Shifter series and Sandrine has managed to work in a third series that will have characters from this series to make guest appearances. This is the Santorno Series and I really can't wait for more on this particular series. Sandrine is a very talented writer to be able to combine so many characters and keep it all in order. In Strange Addiction we finally get to meet Brock Holloway and Zack Duran. On the outside it looks like Brock has everything he wants and is happy but nobody knows how much he is suffering inside. He craves love and attention but it seems the guys that sleep with him are only attracted to him because of his looks. After they use him then that's it. He is so lonely and feels hopeless and takes extreme measures to take away his pain. I cried for him because nobody should feel like this and it broke my heart that he thought he was so alone. Zack is not as hard ass as he acts. He fights his feelings for Brock very hard but it's not his own feelings he has to deal with he constantly he also has to fight his inner wolverine shifter who is fighting him the entire time. Zack was more wolverine than human but he fought as hard as hell to take control of his wolverine side for Brock's sake. One night Zack's true feelings come out when he had to save Brock's life. This was the turning point for both of them. The love that grew between them became stronger every day. I only wish there was a little more background on Zack but that's just me. If I'm not mistaken Zack never had a chance to submit to Brock when they made love if you know what I mean. A little TMI I know but I was curious as to why he was not able to have his chance:) You will enjoy this book and love all the characters in there. Of course my beloved Nikolai makes an appearance and is funny as hell. Nikolai is my favorite character out of all the series. The things he says are so unfiltered which why I like him so much. Can't wait for the next book in either of the series that Sandrine has. She is a great writer and I look forward to her next book.

Strange Addiction (The 12 Olympians #4) by Sandrine Gasq-Dion

Brock Holloway has it all -- money, friends, a bitchin' car and a promising football career. At least, that's what people see. Inside, though, Brock is fighting for something he knows he can never have: Unconditional love. As the child of Aphrodite, he is worshipped, admired, wanted - but never loved.

Zack Duran is a wolverine shifter -- and not a nice guy. Zack's shifter side is always in control, often making him heartless and unfeeling. When Zack is assigned to guard Brock Holloway, his tactless wolverine tendencies become even more prevalent and Zack has to fight his shifter personality AND his genuine feelings for the beautiful football player.

A near tragedy shakes him to his core, and Zack can no longer fight the feelings he has for Brock. But giving in to his emotions may come at too high a price. A startling secret charges Brock with the nearly impossible task of taming Zack's beast. Is he up to the challenge? Can Zack give him what he needs? And with danger working overtime, can they finally be together as they were intended?

Best selling author, Sandrine (Sandy) was born in Inglewood, California. Raised by "Old School" French parents, she later moved to Tucson, AZ. It was there that writing became a hobby. Always told she had a great imagination, Sandy wrote short stories for her friends in High School. In college, she took more writing classes while working on her Criminal Justice degree, but it wasn't until a soap opera caught her eye that she got involved in male on male romances. On the advice of a friend, Sandy dipped her toes into the world of M/M Romance. Sandy takes the writing seriously and has had countless conversations with gay men as well as hours of research. She's been involved with the military in one way or another for over twenty years, and has a great deal of respect for our men in uniform. She's traveled the world, but has finally returned to Arizona.

There is now an Assassin/Shifter website!! Many thanks to the talented Jenn Watts for all her hard work!
