Ruined by S. Pratt
This
book took me by surprise. I loved the ending and it kept me interested
from beginning to end. I understand why her and Angel are so
tormented, but in all honesty I agree that they made the right choice.
The heart wants what the heart wants. People are always going to judge but
at some point you have to stop caring what they think and go with what
makes you happy. I enjoyed every moment of the book and know others
will too.
Stealing Harper!!!!!! June 4th
Okay it was hard enough reading Taking Chances and I don't know if I will survive reading Stealing Harper. But I guess I will because I like misery lol.....Can't wait for this book. Even though I know what happens at the end :( I love Molly McAdams.
Chase
Grayson has never been interested in having a relationship that lasted
longer than it took for him and the girl to get dressed again. But then
he stumbled into a gray-eyed girl whose innocence poured off her, and
everything changed. From the minute Harper opened her mouth to let him
know just how much he disgusted her, he was hooked.
But a princess deserves a prince charming that can make her dreams come true. Not a guy that can turn her life into a nightmare.
All
good intentions go out the window when she starts to fall for the guy
he’s come to view as a brother. He’d wanted to protect her by keeping
her away, but he can’t stand to see her with anyone else and he’ll do
anything to make her his. But when it comes down to Harper choosing
between the two, will Chase have the strength to step back from the girl
that has become his whole world if it means she’s happy?
Lines will be crossed. Friendships will be put to the test. And hearts will be shattered.

Nomination for Blogger Award
My name is Veronica Guzman.
My mother’s side of the family calls me Roni and my dad’s side calls me
Vero. I’m okay with both but to get my
two families to agree is never going to happen.
I started reading more books than I have ever read in my life since my mom
and sister got me a Kindle Fire in May of last year. It was the best birthday present ever!!! They gave me gift cards to Amazon for
Christmas which was awesome. I’m
addicted to the one click pay settings.
I really need to turn it off. My list of favorite authors is huge because there are so many talented writers out there. So it was nice being nominated by Glenna Maynard for a blogger award and I'm looking forward to her new book Beautiful Strangers.
7 things about me….big toughie (I am a chatter box)
- Let’s see I am a mother to a 20 year old beautiful daughter that is in her second year of college. She’s is my biggest accomplishment in life. I was 17 when I got pregnant with her and 18 when I had her. Of course the father left us and I had to face this alone. However, I did have the support of my entire family which I am blessed to have. Not many young girls have this support. I stayed single until she was 5 years old. That’s when I met the love of my life.
- I married when I was 24 and now I have been married 14 years going on 15 years this October. He has helped raise our daughter as his own. That is her daddy in every way. I received my Bachelor’s of Business Administration in June 2010. I couldn’t have done this without my husband, so in a way he earned this degree as well. I’m currently in a Master’s program but took a leave of absence due to my condition. I only have 15 credits more to go to finally finish my Master’s. I’m very close yet so very far. My body isn’t able to work full-time and go to school at the same time. I’m determined to get better and return back this year. Hopefully by this summer I will return.
- Right after I was married I had two miscarriages. After some other symptoms that I had I was finally diagnosed with Lupus. I was basically told that children were not possible but from what the doctors told me if I hadn’t had Vicki when I did then I may have never been able to have children. It was hard but I eventually came to terms with it.
- I am now a book addict and it is sad. I use to read before my Kindle but not as much as I do now. What I have found out is that by reading it has helped me with my stress level. If my stress level is manageable then so is my condition. I have been having fewer flares and not getting sick as much as I use to. This is a relief for me and for my family. Having lived with this condition for so long it can become very hopeless and depressing but I will not give up my fight.
- I am the oldest of three girls. I am very close to my baby sister and we have a huge age difference. I am 13 years older than her but she is my rock. It’s a joke that we call each other sister a friend. In reality she truly is both to me.
- I have a close relationship with my mom. We talk daily and we live three minutes from each other. While I was a teenager we didn’t get along but as soon as I became a mother that changed. Our family is very close and sometimes it can get annoying but I love them. They mean everything to me.
- My middle sister is the baby maker in the family…lol she has 3 kids. A twelve year old boy, seven year old girl, and a three year old boy. I get to spoil them as much as I want and hand them back to my sister when I get tired. I love them so much and so grateful to have them in my life. In addition to my sister’s kids, I have a Rottweiler named Roxy. She is my surrogate child in so many ways. I baby her and she is truly like a child to me. Roxy has saved my life several times. One incident that comes up to mind is when my sugar level had gone so low while I was asleep and if Roxy hadn’t tried to wake me up and get help for me I may have gone into a coma which is what doctors said. She is my little guardian angel and stays by side everywhere I go around the house.
I’m sure I have bored you with all of my little tid bits but
it’s nice to let people know some personal things about myself.

Beautiful Strangers Teaser One
Four Is A Crowd........
The look on Jax’s and Sadie’s faces when I walked in on Evan’s arm was priceless. Jax’s jaw tightened and his fist were clinched. Sadie was draping her self all over him, gag me. I excused my self to the bathroom. I wasn't expecting Sadie to follow me.
Jabbing her finger in my arm as I flinch away she sneers “you think you’re making him jealous but your pushing him straight back to me, where he belongs.” She turns abruptly and stalks out of the bathroom.
“Fuck you, you can keep him” I scream at her back.
Jax’s manager calls for everyone to take a seat; they are ready to show the new music video. I spy Evan sitting alone nursing a whiskey sour and join him, just as Sadie plops her ass in the seat on the other side of him followed by Jaxson.
“So how do you know Grace?” Sadie asks Evan plastering her fake smile.
Jaxson cocks his head to the side like he wants to know as well.
“The fucks it you blondie?” he snaps clearly not asking. The look on Jax’s and Sadie’s faces when I walked in on Evan’s arm was priceless. Jax’s jaw tightened and his fist were clinched. Sadie’s mouth drops as does mine, Evan is an asshole but something is definitely up his ass. “Evan don’t be rude” I weakly smile at him. Before more can be said the video begins to play on a jumbo screen brought in for the occasion. My cheeks flush when I hear myself say three little words; I love you to Jaxson. I can see him looking at me from across the table in the corner of my eye and I notice Sadie is staring a hole through him. Then out of no where Evan says “excuse me Grace but I refuse to sit here and watch the three of you mind fuck with each other, I’m out” and he walks right out the door.

Unbroken---New Book
"Mom always told me
there are two kinds of love in this world: the steady breeze, and the
hurricane. Emerson Ray was my hurricane…"
Juliet McKenzie was an innocent eighteen-year old when she spent the summer in Cedar Cove—and fell head over heels in love with Emerson. Complicated, intense Emerson, the local bad boy. His blue eyes hid dark secrets, and just one touch could set Juliet ablaze. Their love was demanding and all-consuming, but when summer ended, tragedy tore them apart. Juliet swore she’d never go back, and she’s kept that promise… Until now.
Four years later, Juliet’s done her best to rebuild the wreckage of her shattered life. She’s got a great boyfriend, and a steady job planned after she graduates. Returning to Cedar Cove to pack up her family’s beach house to prepare it for sale, Juliet is determined that nothing will stand in the way of her future. But one look from Emerson, and all her old desire comes flooding back. He let her go once, but this time, he’s not giving up without a fight. And Emerson fights dirty.
A heartbreaking history. An unstoppable passion. Torn between her past and future, Juliet struggles to separate love from desire. But will they find a way to overcome their tragic secrets—together? And after so much damage has been done, can a love remain unbroken?

RECKLESS!!!!! S.C. STEPHENS
Holy shit this book was awesome!!! Great ending to a great series. I'm so glad there was no cheating or breaking up in this book. I would have been pissed if that had happened. It was awesome to see their struggles and battles as soon as they got married (in their hearts). LOL.....Maybe I should tell my husband we are just married in our hearts. J/K I think I am going to read this series again from the first book Thoughtless. I didn't re-read the series before the release of Reckless because I didn't have time so I think it is only appropriate for me to start from the beginning. But can I say that I LOVE LOVE KELLAN??!!!! If I loved him in the first two books I sure as hell love him more now.....****sigh**** Well I definitely recommend this book to anybody that loves romance books. Actually I recommend the whole series. I'm glad they got their HEA :) S.C. Stephens is a fucktastic author!!!
